Itunes Question (Rockbox is involved in a way)

Okay here's my question:

Now that itunes sells DRM free music, does that mean songs now purchased on itunes can be played over rockbox??

I remember in the past you couldn't due to them being DRM protected.

Everything I've seen indicates you can do anything you want with them, and any AAC-enabled player should be fine (like Rockbox)

The DRM-free songs can be played on Rockbox. However, not all music from iTunes is now DRM-free.

Nitro2985:
You can always put your DRM'd files onto your iPod through iTunes and use the standard firmware to play them.

Chronon:
Not all of us have iPods.  There's now at least some rationale for me to purchase music from iTunes.
