Why won't album art show in "Now Playing?"

Hello and excuse me if this is a newbie question, but i downloaded some album art themes and they load fine, i see the wallpapers and stuff that the theme uses but no album art.  My album art is embedded as ID3V2 tags.

1.  Album art is not officially supported in Rockbox.

2.  There is an unofficial patch for album art support, but even that patch requires that album art be in a separate .bmp file, not embedded in ID3 tags.
