Installing iPodlinux and Rockbox from iBook (was: help!)

<< < (4/4)

linuxstb:
Firstly, you shouldn't be using "/dev/disk1s3" - you should be using "/dev/disk1".  That's assuming that /dev/disk1 is your ipod.

If the mbr-video30gb.bin file is on your desktop, then you need to move into the Desktop folder in the terminal.  i.e. type "cd Desktop" before running the dd command.

how do i connect it backto my mac so that i can add my music back on to my ipod. thennnn

how do i add one of these themes i got downloaded?

gnu:
You should really read the manual.
Rebooting into original firmware: http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-ipodvideo/rockbox-buildch3.html#x5-240003.1.3

Apply themes: http://download.rockbox.org/manual/rockbox-ipodvideo/rockbox-buildch9.html#x12-2140009.2.1
Or simply unzip your theme directly to your ipod's root (should work in most cases)
