H300: Cannot Find Video Files

(1/1)

droctii:
Really quickly:

Just 'upgraded' my H120 (Rockbox) which I've been using for almost two years to the H320. I did all the necessary firmware stuff to get it up and running no problems (using firmware 1.29k). I used iriverter to convert some small videos. They show when I boot into the original Iriver Firmware with no problems.

I have read up several of the threads using the search function and tried several recommendations. However, even though I have tried letting my h320 see ALL files, Supported, Music, Playlist...I still cannot find (therefore play) any of the video files on the device when I boot to Rockbock (and yes I have reset configuration and use the latest builds).

I had to sound like a total n00b, but I'm really lost. I thought all I had to do was to open the folder that I have my videos in, see them and hit the 'NAVI' button. I am obviously missing something...

Here's where you guys come in. My wife has been patient with me at the computer searching but I am running out of time to be at the computer. I HAVE searched, I'm just lost at this junction.

HELP!!!

Thanks :)

linuxstb:
Rockbox plays .mpg video files, not iriver's H3x0 format.  See this page for info:

Chronon:
But he should still be able to _see_ the files if "Show files" is set to "all"; not that finding them will help him to play them through Rockbox, of course.

Thanks..I didn't realize that using iriverter wouldn't work for Rockbox.
