When I plug in my ipod nano

At first it says do not disconnect..but then its says ok to disconnect and i cant get to my ipod folder to put songs on it. Could somebody tell me whats wrong?

Go to the task manager and stop "ipodservice" or something like that. Then connect your ipod. Do you use diskmode or the Apple OS for connecting to your PC?
