Okay, after rereading this thread, it appears that you haven't actually successfully edited a WPS file.  I misread your original post.

WPS editing requires a base level of comfort in computers that is greater than most anything else the common person is likely to have.  We really can't walk you through "How to modify configuration files," as the subject matter is so vast.  All of the information you need is in the Wiki though, especially in this link:

Follow that tutorial, and when you're done, you'll likely be comfortable enough to make the changes you need to in any WPS, using
