iPOD 5th generation - Key-lock

DefineByte:
I've had the issue and have never used the database. Not even initialised it.

GodEater:
Could both you guys try resetting your config's back to default (turn hold switch to on after RB has started booting) and see if you can reproduce it from there. i.e. don't change any of the default settings beyond the WPS (because the default one uses peakmeters which are a bad idea on the iPod).

DefineByte:
I've only had it happen once so reproducing it could be quite difficult. I'll see what I can do.

So can all of you that have reported this issue indicate whether you use the database or not ?

I've used the database one time...Usually, I'm either going straight from the file browser, resuming playback from where I last stopped, or going from a saved bookmark.  In fact, I didn't even have the database talking to me until last week, and even then, since it spells everything instead of saying the full word, it's just easier to use the file browse...I don't see a way to entirely "disable" the database, however...But again, until last week, I'd never used that particular function.
