New WPS for the Gigabeat - 8WoRDS

Check it out and let me know what you think.  This is my 2nd theme.  I just uploaded it to the Wiki and rockbox-themes.org

I like the name, very cool ;)

The only thing holding this theme back for me, is the picture. Reading up on wikipedia I made a few connections: 7words is a song by the deftones, which happens to be your alias and name of your first theme. So I'm guessing the pic is of vocalist Chino Moreno.
The other thing I wanted to mention is that the snap font is a little small for me. Otherwise, this and 7words are both pretty good themes, a little busy but still good, I like your choice of background graphics for both. Glad to see some icons in this theme, seems like the essentials are there : battery, disk, volume, shuffle/repeat. I like how the playback status blends into the background.

Keep up the good work.

All around very cool theme.

Progress bar, icons, and font and everything work very well with each other.  You should release a imagepack with just the icons and progress bar and stuff so others could create similar themes!

you are correct, my nick is from the deftones song - 7 words and i in fact used chino in my wps because the picture was just too good to pass on using it.  the original picture had all this smoke rising up behind him and it just really captured a good live music feel, but i played around with it and the blue just looked cool with the background.  i like to mess around a little out of the norm as far as graphics go.  a lot of the themes i've seen for the gigabeat are very clean cut and straight to the point.  i was trying to mix it up a bit on this one.  I originally had an old style microphone to the left of the now playing bar, but I took it out.  I'm not sure if I want to use it but it looked cool leading to the artist & track name.  who knows, maybe i'll add it later on.  but i'm pretty happy with it, once i get around to actually learning how to do the album art patch, i may add album art to this one.

the icons are CC free icons i used and I gave the credit in the readmefile contained within the zip.  If you want to grab the icon packs, i found this site to be very helpful with getting different styles.  plus they list what type of license there is for each one - http://www.maxpower.ca/free-icons/2006/03/05/
