winff blank files?

i swapped the presets xml file ran it as sudo (ubuntu) and tryed 4 differant files and all 4 came out blank meaning file size of about 1 byte!!!!!!

help please and hurry i got stuff to do tomarrow that involves these videos

Try manually converting a file with ffmpeg and make sure that's working.

wow i said hurry but that was fast!!!

i tryed but it gets really complex really fast i only know simple command line like "sudo apt-get install" "dpkg" or "./configure.....make.......make install"

simply put i can install uninstall and run but not a heck of allot elce though consoles

Well, WinFF isn't our software, so there's not much we can do in the way of helping you with it. Odds are ffmpeg is failing for some reason, but mostly you'll need to figure out what's going wrong, or see help with the tools in a forum that's dedicated to video conversion.
