battery dies quick
Llorean:
At 4.05V your player should have far more than enough power to stay active. The volume shooting to 6db is what happens when the touchpad doesn't receive enough power.
Try running the same playlist in the original firmware, and see how long you get, and if it acts weird at the end too.
delorean90:
is there any explination as to why the volume battery decreases at that rate?
p.s. sorry llorean ment to say battery
Llorean:
What exactly are you asking? The volume increases, not decreases, and it's due to a problem with the touchpad itself, when it doesn't receive enough power it scrolls upward. If you're in a different screen, different things will happen.
delorean90:
i am posotive it is the rockbox firmware at this point, i played on the OF for around 3 hours and still had full battery, but what confuses me is why this bug is so rare and that others arent expieriencing the same problem in a larger amonut
Llorean:
I asked you to do a FULL test of the original firmware. You've proved that "the original lasts 3 hours" which isn't very much. If the battery is faulty, the display might not be reliable either.
Please, just go through actual testing, rather than jumping to conclusions at each step.
The reason other people aren't experiencing this is most likely that there's a difference in your player. You still haven't convinced me your player is fine, and have shown significant unwillingness to attempt to do so.
The next step after that is to figure out why your player shuts down at such a high voltage. A battery benchmark from a working H10 would be helpful for this step.
