Ipod 30 Gigs Video

Im having a problem..  I dont know how to watch videos with rockbox since i dont see any tab saying "Video or smthng.. and pictures neither..

Doom aint working too, its saying missing file.. dont remember the name ill tell ya when i use my ipod

As far as playing videos, there's a thread about this already posted here:

I don't mind helping, just do some research before posting a new thread; most of the information you're looking for probably has been or is currently being discussed.

Just create a video folder and put your videos there and get to them with the file browser.  At this point in development you might find apple's firmware to be more suited to your needs though.

Ok so i did what they told me to do with doom( add a folder called Doom and added a file called Doom1
wad
 but its still saying the following "Missing Base WAD! then  Plugin return Error."

Didint try to fix the video yet because it says in the Wiki
"mpegplayer is included in the standard Rockbox installation and does not need to be downloaded separately"

It sounds like you still haven't followed the directions as they're written in the manual...

I've just put together a .zip that will install Doom for rockbox. It contains freeware Doom and freedoom, and can be installed by just extracting to the root of your player.

If you'll notice, the Rockbox Extras page already HAS a link to freedoom and the rockdoom.wad with the proper directory structure. All you've done is added the shareware Doom, I take it?

yep, after downloading 'the 6.6MB wad' I've realized that all I've done is add freedoom. I just assumed that since the link said "the 6.6MB wad zip" that it was just freeware doom. I'll remove my link as it really doesn't do anything.

It's nicer if the files come from a known good host and don't require clicking past advertising anyway.

OH ! it worked with doom exept that the colours are like blue white black red and green and when i press play game it crashes and stay a lonely pictureof the doom boy.Maybe the folder you made me download  [EvilG] wasent complete ? or maybe my bad =\
