MPEG Plugin Locks up player (X5) when exiting in mid video

I was wondering if anyone has noticed this problem. About 1/4 of the time on all MPEGs or 100% on some MPEGs, when I press the power button to exit the plugin in the middle of video playback, the video will freeze and lock up the player. The only way to recover is to hold the power button for about 30 seconds until the player turns off and I can restart. If I allow the video to play to completion, this never happens.

I am using the VLC batch file or Mediacoder to create the files for the X5.

Has anyone noticed this or know of a solution?
