I completely screwed my ipod

First I downloaded linux then rockabox but then I tryed to use it and it came up with

Ipod version: 0x00060000
Toshiba mk2006galc
No partitions found (this happened when i didn't have internet and FORMATED my ipod using windows)
press Menu+select to reboot
Then select+play for disk mode

now I when into disk mode and try to restore my ipod on I tunes AND it won't restore it But my computer displays my ipod as a removable harddrive that won't work and come up with the error I/o
PLEASE HELP ME
