I have this player too and  Rockbox really add value  to it. I'm still discovering every features, And after some unsuccessful tries to copying mp3 without .sat encryption, I found the best way to do so. First I loaded the rockbox firmware then I plugged it on it's cradle via 2.0 usb, As the gigabeat appears as a new hard drive in windows explorer I created a new folder call music then copy/paste all needed mp3 files and folders for fast transfer rate. No softwares was needed, no Gigabeat Room or WMP. Actually it seems the basic Gigabeat Firmware does the .sat encryption and is a real pain. Rockbox is truely a must for an enjoyable experience!!!  :D

Same as metaluke, its wonderful, it supports Videos very well and the giant screen is great!
