Help: DOOM - Sansa e250

(1/2) > >>

KnightLX:
I've installed doom sucessfully on my sansa e250. --- Now, the problem is that I can't play it. I see the whole in-game menu with a demo of the game in the background, and I am able move up and down that menu, but I can't select. I tried all the buttons and none of them are able to select.

I looked everywhere for a topic answering my question; I couldn't find anything. I saw some guy just posted this question, but it was in the wrong forum -_-.  Someone, please help!

try to put an older daily built on your sansa, the scroll whell stop working near the 10  of may i think in doom and rockboy .

so put the daily built of the 9 of may i think than the scroll whell  work well in this daily built.

and someone please correct that

KnightLX:
huh? come again? --- Plz explain things to me as if I had a brain the size of a peanut...I just started using rockbox 2 days a go and I don't know shit about it.

EDIT: I edited my first post. I hope that makes things clearer...

EDIT 2: It's okay, i know what daily builds are now. I'll try downloading and installing an older build.

EDIR 3: Yesss, it's working. The creators should fix the bug for doom in later releases.

Really?  I thought it was preferred to be not working. /sarcasm

Come on fella, it'll be fixed.  Rockbox is written by volunteers in their spare time.  It is open source - if you really can't wait, why don't you fix it.

Also, bear in mind that it has only been _released_ for Archos devices.  The current builds all represent work-in-progress.  We should think of ourselves more like play testers than end users.
