battery empty

could it be that my battery is that empty that my ipod cant start anymore?

depending on what "can't start" exactly means, sure. No electronical device will work if the power is out.

The iPod won't start without power.Hopefully that's just because your battery is out of power, not other parts' problem.

it is totaly empty and then i conect it to the charger, it boots up but booting costs that much energie that i goes off after 15- sec.

Reboot your ipod using Menu + Center for about 10 seconds, then try to plug it in. It should actually charge then. I've had the exact same problem before.

in the end. . . . .     ...the problem is solved, i got a brand new ipod today.

they said nothing about rockbox, seems as if they didn't saw it. ;D
