Playlist size over 20,000?
« on: May 21, 2007, 12:16:00 AM »
I have modified my Recorder V2 with a 160GB drive, to accommodate my 21,000+ file music library.  I enjoy listening to my mp3s on shuffle, and so I have run from a root.m3u playlist in the past.  But, of course, Rockbox can't load the entire playlist before it hits the 'Playlist buffer full' wall.

Is there anyway to increase the options available under 'Max playlist size'?  If necessary, I will compile my own build...if somebody wouldn't mind pointing me to the necessary changes to make.

See apps/settings_list.c and search for the "max files in playlist" setting. Changing the max value there should be enough, I think...
