My config wont stick

Does anyone happen to know why it is that whenever I plug in my 5G iPod to USB it resets the config and i have to reload it everytime? and when i do load my config file it always forgets that i want the pointer line selector. Each time i reset it i get it back to how i want and i save the file again.

Rockbox should save the settings before it goes into USB mode, so I think your config.cfg may be corrupted. Since you have your setting saved as myfaves.cfg or something, connect to PC and delete config.cfg, copy myfaves.cfg and rename it to config.cfg (all should be inside the .rockbox folder). Rockbox should save the settings before it goes into USB mode

The correct setting for the  pointer is this
invert cursor: off
