Rockbox on iPod Mini 8GB CompactFlash

I know there is a patch in the wiki, but i saw a thread saying it no longer works. what exactly should i change in the ata.c file to get it to work.

rockbox does work on my ipod but crashes very soon after. it might play one song but won't refill the buffer when its empty. i need it to stop trying to put the cf card to sleep. i think

check the #ifndef IPOD_NANO block in ata.c -- it's most likely what you need to change.

change it to IPOD_MINI instead? and thats all there is to it?

that should work, at least if that's the lines you need to change. Of course (maybe I'll get around this at some point, want to try this mod since quite a while) this isn't a "clean" solution that could go to svn but that's a different story.

OMG it works! thx it fills up the buffer by itself now. i put the compiled firmware on my server if anyone wants it
