ipod video mpeg player alternative

(1/1)

groovetuber:
Well, after reading about how the mpeg player doesn't work too well with ipod video I have found a solution to watching videos. I'm sure some of you guys already know this, but I'll throw it out there to for those who don't. What you can do is instead of viewing the videos with rockbox, you can switch back to the original firmware that comes with the ipod in order to view videos. All you have to do is restart your ipod when you have rockbox up, when the screen turns blank quickly hit the select button and then put hold on. You will now be transferred over to the original firmware. You can then load/watch videos like this. To get back to rockbox all you have to do is restart the original firmware, and when you get to the blank screen hit the select button only this time. Voila, you are back to rockbox. I thought this was pretty neat, and a good alternative to mpegplayer. I hope this is useful to some people. If you need any help just ask. Peace!
