where's my music?
(1/1)
guyster:
I got my sansa E260 on Saturday, and got Saturday's daily build of rockbox. I installed it, and I've gotta say, I love the fact that the menus speak, since I'm totally blind and can't see the screen. Kudos to the developers for that one. Only problem I have is that I can't see any of my music files. Before I loaded rockbox, I put some MP3's in the music folder. When I go to files, the only folders I'm seeing are photo, tmp, video and record. I google searched, and saw something about setting "show all folders". Can someone give me a hand with how to do this? Lastly, is there a shortcut to just start playing your music instead of having to go through the files menu? If not, the files menu is OK, I'm just happy to have an MP3 player where the menus speak. Thanks much in advance for the help.

From the Main menu go to Settings -> General Settings -> File View -> Show Files and set it to All to see all files and folders in the file viewer.
I do not quite understand what you mean by a shortcut to play music, you can set rockbox to automatically resume when you start your player...
The database for browsing music by tag info is not using voice feedback yet so it will probably be quite hard to navigate.
