Broken Screen

my son cracked the sceen on his 1 week old sandisk sansa. I need help replacing the screen. Thanks

That seems neither relevant to Rockbox or the act of installing Rockbox, and seems somewhat out of place here. You might want to try reading up on the forum posting guidelines and other various rules and purposes of this site.

I've torn apart several different DAPs. Many (Gigabeat F, iAudio X5, Philips) have displays that are relatively easy to swap out. The Sansa, however, seems to be epoxied to the PCB. I'm not convinced there's a way to repair it other than a factory return.
