Crossfade Mix Mode not working
« on: May 12, 2007, 02:57:17 PM »
On the ipod 60gig when i turn on crossfade and put it on 'mix'  mode , there are no audible changes.
On my iriver runing rockbox, it fades out the track and the second track fades in before the first track stops, like a DJ would mix...

This isnt happening on my ipod

any help appreciated...

thanks

Sorry... I'm being a bit lazy, and not checking the Wiki / manual, but from memory MIX mode doesn't actually fade-in fade-out. More of a straight overlap. Never could work out how to use mix mode. Plain crossfade mode works for me fine though.

If you fathom it all out, let us know, 'cos the last time i looked the wiki was still a bit confusing.

try this set the crossfade-out time to above 10 seconds, & keep crossfade to mix, & the fade in n other stuff should be "0", this shall work , another problem is when a track starts , dont immediately change tracks, cause this causes some glitchy sounds, otherwise the feature works like a gem
