Ipod Firmware 1.2.1?

I was running an older version of the iPod firmware, and I stupidly modded the firmware using an editor. This process not only gave the effects I wanted, but also upgraded the firmware to 1.2.1 and removed the rockbox bootloader (well loader 2 actually)

I tried reinstalling the bootloader and it didn't work, it just booted into 1.2.1

So I restored my iPod. It was restored to factory conditions, and automatically upgraded itself to 1.2.1. I tried installing the bootloader (using NORMAL UNMODDED ipod firmware) but it still didn't boot.

Is RockBox not compatable with 1.2.1?

There are no known problems installing the Rockbox bootloader with any version of the ipod firmware.

If you're having problems with loader2, then you should ask the authors of loader2 for advice.

Loader2 is obsolete at this point, just use the normal bootloader and use the most recent bootloader installer.
