Hey. When I boot up my iPod with the Hold switch on, a simple dialogue comes up that says this:

Rockbox boot loader
Version: 1.0
IPOD Version: 0xFFFFFFFF
HTC426030G5CE00
No partition found
Press MENU+SELECT to reboot
then SELECT+PLAY for disk mode.

When I try to boot into Rockbox, that's all it does.
And when I try to boot into the iPod OS, then I my iPod freezes at the iPod bootloader.
I think what I might have to do is go into disk mode and then Restore my iPod.
And I'm on a mac, so I can't see the .rockbox folder in my Finder.

Chronon:
It sounds like you didn't format your main partition to FAT32.

Did you follow the directions here?

madman885:
Yeah so I tried that but every time i tried to type in the dd: if=/or= statement it wouldsay "mbrvideo30gb.bin o such file or directory." and then I tried typing in the directory for the file and the same message came up

Chronon:
Did you run the command from the directory where you saved the partition table?  It sounds like the command couldn't locate the file.
