No partition found
« on: May 09, 2007, 08:28:08 PM »
Hey. When I boot up my iPod with the Hold switch on, a simple dialogue comes up that says this:

Rockbox boot loader
Version: 1.0
IPOD Version: 0xFFFFFFFF
HTC426030G5CE00
No partition found
Press MENU+SELECT to reboot
then SELECT+PLAY for disk mode.

When I try to boot into Rockbox, that's all it does.
And when I try to boot into the iPod OS, then I my iPod freezes at the iPod bootloader.
I think what I might have to do is go into disk mode and then Restore my iPod.
And I'm on a mac, so I can't see the .rockbox folder in my Finder.

It sounds like you didn't format your main partition to FAT32.

Did you follow the directions here?

Did you run the command from the directory where you saved the partition table?  It sounds like the command couldn't locate the file.
