Font and background are the same color

i on accidentally set my font and background white, and i cannot find my way through the ipod. please tell me there is a reset button or something

Yeah hold play/pause and menu to reset it. Then when the boot loader  comes up, switch the hold on. That should clear your settings and load the default Rockbox theme.

I thought that just booted the native Apple OS?
Or... is it all in the timing? ie. If you switch on AFTER rockbox starts loading?

In my case it's all about the timing. If i switch the hold earlier I get the Apple Os, but if I switch it just before the rockbox logo it says "cleared" and enters rockbox with the defaults.

Yeah it's timing for me too.
