Need help putting asian characters into a font.

Twilight in Zero:
The title pretty much describes my dilemma completely. The font I am trying to modify is called Ashby, and it's freeware. I found a font with Japanese characters in it called CineCaption, that looks like it might fit well with it, and it's freeware too. I think.

I tried using a program called FontCreator to do it, but when I tried to add the characters from CineCaption into Ashby, it simply didn't work. Also, when looking through CineCaption, it didn't seem to have nearly as many kanji as all my other Japanese fonts, which made me worry that I might end up getting some boxes showing up in some of my songs if I used it.

So, anyways... Could someone help me with this?

Your best bet is to seek help elsewhere. This isn't really a Rockbox question, and you're quite unlikely to find experts on other software and such.
