F20 won't stop rebooting

LedFloyd:
I had installed rockbox without realizing that the SAT encryption would render my music useless unless I converted it back with the original firmware and windows media player using the cradle.  So I followed these steps that I found in the wiki:

   *  Connect your Gigabeat to a PC with the USB and AC Adapter minus the cradle for now.
    * Navigate in Windows Explorer to X:\GBSYSTEM\FWIMG (X:\ of course is the drive letter representing your Gigabeat.)
    * Rename the FWIMG01.DAT to FWIMG01.DAT.RBX
    * Rename FWIMG01.DAT.ORIG to FWIMG01.DAT.
    * Switch the battery off and then on again.

Now all it does is it loads up the gigabeat firmware until that bar is full, shows the original gigabeat wallpaper, and goes black and reboots and does the same thing over and over again until I switch the battery to 'off'.

If I plug in the USB, it connects to the computer just fine but I need to set the gigabeat to connect with WMP and NOT gigabeat room which is what it connects with now.  As soon as I unplug the USB, it goes black and reboots.

Any idea what I should do?

Did you by chance install the GBSYSTEM.zip file given in the wiki to improve your boot time?

LedFloyd:
The file sizes from that zip file don't match those on the gigabeat's.  So that is a negative.

Nate!:
Did you have Rockbox loaded at one point?  Does the FWIMG01.DAT have the extra period at the end?  (FWIMG01.DAT. vice FWIMG01.DAT)

LedFloyd:
No periods at the ends of anything.

So no one else has had this problem?
