Iaudio X5: The current build 08/05/07 has no rockbox.iaudio file in the root dir

(1/1)

dmoriarty:
Today's daily build (08/05/07) has no rockbox.iaudio file in the root directory in the .zip file (rockbox.zip).

The previous build I downloaded 17/03/07 did have the rockbox.iaudio in the root directory.

Note that the 17/03 build was the last good build since ones after this had 400k filesizes.

Note that there is a rockbox.iaudio file in the .rockbox directory of the current build.

Should I copy the rockbox.iaudio file to the root directory of my player from the .rockbox directory?

ColdSphinx:
take the current build

No, leave it where it is and make sure your bootloader is up to date

ColdSphinx:
Ups, I read only the half :o
the iAudios only have 1 or 2 bootloader versions so you should have the current one   : )
The fileposition of the rockbox.(player) file changed to simplyfy the update and installing.

dmoriarty:
This is now resolved.

I downloaded the new .rockbox file onto my player and the fonts and the new voice file.  Rebooted and all if fine.  Rockbox boots correctly with the new version and the updated voice files.  I didn't need to change the boot loader.  I am using the Dual Boot loader.

Thank you very much for your attention.
