work in progess for 5G, need some suggestions

Just starting this WPS, and while I was getting the background going I began to wonder if a slightly zoomed version would help improve text space. I want the WPS to be doable on the normal rb build, so I need some wide areas for longer text filenames (I will be making a scrolling margins version too).

So any thoughts on this work in progress? I think I'm going with the zoomed version, but I would appreciate some input, thanks

Either black, the light blue in the pic (or maybe the dark blue-purple on the top of the pic), or the pink from the lips (might be a bit more magenta).

Come to think of it I haven't even thought of a backdrop for the filebrowser, and that would affect the text color of course. For a font I'll either go with snap, that new nimbus-10 or something else small. There isn't much height available, but I don't think the focus of this WPS is displaying lots of information.

Glad you guys like it. I'm thinking I'm going to make the whiskers point in the direction of playback.
Play= no direction, just the same as you see now.
Pause= blinking
FF= whiskers point right
RW= whiskers point left.

I went with the zoomed version After some very tedious tweaking (in GIMP, and then in the WPS code) I've got the whiskers to move seamlessly (no jumpy pixels), and when paused, the normal playing whiskers blink one second apart.
Volume and Battery will be numeric (as shown) for simplicity's sake, Having them as images might take away from the central image, and I can't think of a different place/ proper images to set them to. I'm planning on putting in playing time and time left on the left and right hand sides of the progress bar, and on the last line the next song info on an alternating line, centred.

I'm thinking the next info is making it a little cluttered, or is it just me?

p.s. to anyone that notices the white space about 2px wide on the left side of the WPS, I noticed that too and have fixed it

Opinions:
1) Remove the nose as a test, it shoudl make the info text easier to read.
2) Make his mouth outline big enough to fit the time numbers.
3) I don't think the next track info makes it too cluttered.
