Ipod Mini Fan 1969:
i am having a problem, I dont see any SLEEP MODE in the menus under rockbox to shut this thing off....

I have to hold down the PLAY button for it to go into sleep, when I do this, it REBOOTS into the regular IPOD FIRMWARE, and then I must tell it to sleep from THIS menu... is this normal?

thanks!

Ps - also when i fire up the mini from sleep, I have to do a hard reboot (select + menu) to get it to start in ROCKBOX... I dont use the original firmware for the ipod anymore...how can I use rockbox ONLY?

thanks guys..

This program totally KICKS ASS! I wish I knew about it years ago!

There is none. Deep sleep hasn't been implemented yet.

I don't know what you are doing, but holding down the Play button shuts down the player, it doesn't reboot. This is also described in the manual ...

Ipod Mini Fan 1969:
When I hold down the play button, the ipod mini (2nd generation) REBOOTS and rockbox starts up again...

I don't know what exactly you are doing, but holding down Play shuts down the mini. This works fine on mine with all recent builds I tried.

Make sure you use an official build and a recent one.

Ipod Mini Fan 1969:
Ah I now see there is NO DEEP SLEEP mode for rockbox, you can only hold down the MENU BUTTON.

IS there any talk about adding DEEP SLEEP to rockbox? thanks!
