iPOD Nano Dead? Boot Problem?
(1/1)
ipod123:
Okay well heres the story. Last night I installed Rockbox on my iPOD nano 1st Gen and a couple themes. It was working awesomely and it was perfect. The next day my battery was a bit low and so what I did was I was still in Rockbox. I turned it off by holding the play button first. I plugged the usb charger into a wall plugin but nothing came up no apple sign. I thought just let it charge but after a couple hours I tried to turn on the Rockbox firmware with Menu+Select but that doesnt work, normal iPOD firmware doesnt, Disk Mode doesnt work. Is it possible I had a short circuit and it fried everything?
moiendix:
no,and yes at the same time
because there is a thing called "over used the battery" as so the ipod specalist say
if your a ipod freak who listen to their ipod daily and such ....yeah its because you charged the battery 1 to many times

I recommend to use Ipod recovery mode, press menu and select for about 5~8 seconds,it may help to recover it.
