I Need Help on rebooting my gigabeat.

Hello,

              After i remove my hdd and connect it to the pc where do i put the gbsystem folder. Because after i put it on the hard drive it said do you want to go over it i said yes. then i turned it back on and it was still not working. can someone please help.

Also can anyone tell me the original files that should be on the original Toshiba Gigabeat firmware.

they should be in the root of your drive. what GBSYSTEM folder are you using to overwrite your GBSYSTEM? If your using the one from the bottom of the GigabeatFX wiki page, you need to read the readme provided and it will help you out. If your not using that one, tell us what one you are and we can help you out.

I used the one at the bottom of the page, did it not work because i did not have fwimgo01. Also the folders in the root have ones for rockbox so i need all the original files. If not can i get ALL the necessary files for rockbox. For the files can you please list them .

Please stop putting "REPLY ASAP" on all of your posts. Your issues are no more or less important than those of anyone else.

And I'm still not clear on what it is you are trying to do.  Are you trying to install Rockbox or are you trying to restore the original Toshiba firmware?  And why would you need to remove your HDD?

the fwing01.dat is also located on the same page. did you read the readme located in the first zip?
