Why does the DataBase not have a menu for podcasts

(1/2) > >>

axlgreasetires:
I have about 15 podcasts that i subscribe to and i really am not a big fan of the original apple os.  Why hasn't some1 made a database menu for playlists that organizes them in the same fasion as the apple os?

frodo:
I just put the podcasts in separate directories. That way, they are easy to keep apart.

(Then again, I use a complete directory structure for other audio files too, and don't use the database.)

How should the Database know a given mp3 is a podcast?

axlgreasetires:
Yeah i was wondering if that would be a problem too i guess it is.

bascule:
If your podcasts are genre-tagged correctly then you can create a custom Database entry to show them.

Alternatively, if they are in a separate folder, then your custom Database entry can also filter by filepath to achieve the same effect.
