boxes .wps crashed H320

I'm a new Rockbox / Iriver user so I was looking through the manual and checking out some of the features.

I went to browse .wps files and chose boxes.  My H320 immediately shut down.  Then when I tried to start up again it would show the Rockbox screen then the loading msg box but would shut down again.

I'm thinking I need to dump my music, reformat and reinstall Rockbox?  I still have access to the drive via USB.

I don't see why you would need to dump your music or reformat.  Try deleting the config.cfg file and rebooting.  If that doesn't work, try removing the .rockbox folder and reinstalling a rockbox build.

you can also reset the player to default settings by pressing the rec button immediately after turning on the player.
