Fonts

I particularly like this new font I found: http://www.dafont.com/a-lolita-scorned.font

I was wondering how I could put this to use in RockBox.

Is it at all posible?

its free for persona use.. which proably means you could run it through our font conversion tools fine, but we cant distribute it with the other fonts...

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

Could you perhaps provide me a link to these conversion tools? And also, a link to where to download rockboy. I'm having trouble finding it.

Thanks a bunch.

Much easier solution....
http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/RockboxFontConvertor

Be warned though. Rockbox does NOT support anti-aliasing. The font image will be made up of pixels that are either black or white (or, to be specific foreground colour and transparent). Complex fonts like the one above will almost certainly look a mess without anti-aliasing!

Give it a try though.

Flid's right – that font looks great at 72pt with anti-aliasing turned on, but it'd be completely unusable in Rockbox (where it'll be at 8 or 10pt with anti-aliasing off). A pixel font would work great in Rockbox, but not a complex decorative face like "Lolita Scorned."
