Rockboy help.

When i try to PLAY A ROM i get an reading that says  Plugin returned error.  It says it cant find the size of the rom. I need help

i have exactly the same error with every rom i try to play.

What i did try is put the roms in the main folder, en try to open them with rockboy.
I even copied the games twice and renamed them to .gb and .gbc. But nothing helps.

What extension did the files have before?

they had the . gb as the extension.

I dont think he was talking to you, but thats good. What player do you have? and how old is it? if your hard drive is getting unstable, it could be a solution to reformat it. If it's an iPod, you have your work cut out for you (just restore it). But of course you might want to talk it over with these guys before you do anything drastic.

Which games are you trying to play?  There are certain things that are expected in the gameboy files, and if those are different than what it looks for you will get those errors.  How larger are the ROMs?  Are these actually gameboy/gameboy color games?  I have seen people rename .gba games to .gb and try to run them.  If the game is small (less then 4 Megs at the most) and you feel that it is a legitimate gameboy game please PM me so that I can take a look at it and see if there is a new gamesize that should be added to rockboy.
