Icon thing...i cannot see new icons

hi everybody.i have a 1gb nano and i tried to install new theme with new icons.but the problem is when i choose the theme it just changes the font but icons does not change. the old icons remains.i also have new theme's icons in my ipod in /.rockbox ...Can you please help ?

you need to have the icon files in /.rockbox/icons/ folder only then will the theme get those icons from there & access them showing you your icons .

actually there is no such folder.by the way there came a cfg file with the theme.what should i do now?

Do you have a recent build?  It appears in mine.

i installed new rockbox which i downloaded from here.looks like my old rockbox was reaaaly old.it's fixed now.thnx for answering anyway

I installed today's build for the Nano and I lost icons altogether. I disabled/re-enabled icons in the settings, tried the 'rockbox_default_icons.cfg', but no luck. There is a 'viewers.bmp' file in the /.rockbox/icons/ folder, so that can't be the problem (unless there are supposed to be other files there). I did have icons in my previous installation (2007-04-02). I guess it's just a bug, unless someone knows a reason why the icons could be invisible.

By the way, the UI appears to be broken in this build in more places. When I browse through the menu, the screen often forgets to update, e.g. when changing a setting or going up in the menu, I have to scroll or press a button to force a screen refresh...
