rockbox on the sansa will sometimes crash and have to reboot?

sometimes when i am in rockbox on the sansa e250 model what will happen is sometimes rockbox will  completely lock up and stop working...

what happens is kinda weird - it first stops reponding and then the screen appears to light up more and more and gets brighter and then just sits there and it stays bright....

this exact same brightness scene also happens when i boot into the orginal firmware as well but i dont know if this is normal or not??

i didnt see any documentation on this so i want to post this to see if anyone ever encoutered this?

X86:
as the rockbox port is in early development it has a lot of bugs,I have the same trouble but it happens quite less.
