Status bar activating when shutting down from radio?

Hi,

If I shut down Rockbox on the iRiver from the radio, when I boot back up it will display the status bar even if I didn't have it set. Here's what I did,

Switch off the status bar. When you shut down and start up again the status bar will still be off as expected. Turn on the radio and it will display the status bar. If you then click stop of navigate out of the radio's wps then the status bar will be off.

However, if you hold down the stop button to shut down from directly from the radio wps, when you boot back into Rockbox, the status bar will still be there and you need to switch it off again.

The version is r13171-070415, I know it's quite old but I'm at work at the moment and can't put on a newer version.

If anyone can reproduce this can they let me know and I'll post to flyspray

No, that's not the current build.

i patched this ages ago but noone would test the patch so it hasnt been commited yet... try a new build with http://www.rockbox.org/tracker/task/8168

jdgordon is asking you to apply the patch then test it, not just test the latest build.  If you are not up to adding patches, pm me, I can compile it in for you (I don't have a radio to test it).

I'm tempted to say this wont be fixed before viewports are in a apps/ is reworked a bit... but ill have another look tonight and see what sort of band-aid fix can be done.
