UI behaviour when updating the database

Hi,

I recently started using the database on my Gigabeat F60. And there seems to be a problem with the UI while the DB is being initialized or updated in the background:
when in the menu the cursor randomly skips around the menu and key presses do not seem to be honored. This last until the DB update is finished after which everything is normal again.

I fully realize that initializing or a big update (like after cleaning up the tags of your music on the disc) needs a lot of processing power and access to the disk so expect some lag in UI responsiveness, but a complete lack of using it (not even possible to go back to the WPS screen) seems wrong to me.

Did somebody else experience this?

I've not seen this at all on my F10.  I have auto-update on and have been loading quite a bit of stuff lately.
