jb recorder 20 won't power off

Nope, I've not opened it more than to change the batteries. I'll post back when/if I find a solution. Thanks for the help so far.

I think this is a short circurit behind the front board where it is soldered on the metall.  I had the same problem. I cleand  some solder away and it worked fine. So you better send it back for replacement or repair.
