What does it show on the screen when you plug in USB? What *exactly* is happening? It's hard to help with no information.

the picture of the usb cord then it says dont disconect for like 1 sec then it says ok to disconect

So you're getting into "Disk Mode", which is technically Apple software, not ours.

Try rebooting into the original Firmware, and pluggin in USB after you're in it.

Just boot into the retail firmware. Turn off your iPod, turn on your iPod, turn on the hold switch immediately after turning it on, and wait for the original firmware to boot.

i meant just reboot over and over. i just got it in normal but still wont appear as a drive

Try restarting your computer.

ok i think that did it i deleted the .rockbox and did it throught the command thing now restarting.......................cool it worked thanks
