Selecting new song without erasing dynamic playlist?
« on: April 21, 2007, 01:09:01 PM »
Is there a way that I could set rockbox so when I pick a new song, that the playlist will not regenerate -- but rather insert the new song?  I'd like to keep the playlist that is originally there -- so I only listen to songs once, and I'd like to save battery by not creating a new playlist.

Thanks!

Long 'select' on the song to bring up the context menu, then pick Playlist, then you have a huge number of insert options available...

Use Query instead of Insert.

Use Query instead of Insert.
Insert will also not delete the current dynamic playlist ...

Read the manual for a description of "insert" and "queue" and the difference between both.
