2 Questions about RockBox on an H10

(1/1)

JungleJim:
I've got 2 quick questions about RockBox for the iRiver H10 20GB player.

I gave RockBox a shot a few months ago (around January I guess) and I really liked it.  But for some reason the slider on the iRiver would become calibrated wrong or something and it would start moving up without me touching it.  This happened a lot and so I eventually got rid of RockBox so I could listen to music again (the slider controls the volume, so when I listened to music the volume would turn up way too loud).  Well, now I'm thinking of getting RockBox back, so how can I fix this problem?

Second question.  I was browsing the web and found a video of someone using RockBox to watch a Family Guy episode on his H10 (stupid show, but cool feature).  When I had RockBox before, you couldn't put videos on it (or you could only put up to like 30 seconds, something along those lines).  Did they figure out how to allow videos on a recent build?

Thanks!

The second question at first:
While the last few Month there were a lot of improfements for the MpegPlayer.

And now to the maintopic:
If you use Rockbox you should update perhaps 1 time per week, but you could do it more often. Because of Fixes, improfements and new features. And you have to know Rockbox is only released for the Archos targets yet. So you are using a beta! Most things work, not all perfect but will be fixed/improved from time to time.

007quick:
There is a patch for the scroll pad which makes it much better, though not perfect. If you don't want to compile it your self, You could always use my custom build! It includes the patch and many others. Look on my website if your interested.
