Considering that page being dated "27 May" as the most recent update, and the fact that I don't recall ever seeing anyone discussing it (which doesn't mean it wasn't, it just means it was low enough volume to entirely pass me by), I would go with "Probably nobody." I imagine it turned out to not be efficient enough (or would've upon testing, if it didn't get that far).

Trying to use the Default theme for the Sansa c250v1 and the spacing seems to be off (Unicode works gr8) - Is it my end or is it the code (I suck at reading .wps files or I would try to correct it)

Thanks for any help you can give.

I recently renamed the c200 version and I will bug check it in the simulator. It'd be nice if you could tell me exactly which spacing is off and maybe even post a screenshot?

(1)  In the last downloadable c200.zip version the left margin for when there is album art present is set to "105", looking at the unicode version it seems that it should be "48" (and no, I don't have an old version lying around here and just installed the theme the first time on my c200).

I'm not completely sure who uploaded the latest version (I think crzyboyster did) but the zip also contains those annoying thumbs.db files...

(2)  Regarding the volume icon for "above line level": I also want to see it - as long as this theme only uses a graphical volume display, everything should be done to make this as informative as possible. In my own theme I use a numerical volume display and I really really missed it during my work on the Archos version. I could imagine it to be a bit like the battery charging and power icons - something shown inside the fully filled volume "triangle", especially for greyscale/mono displays (yapper's exclamation mark variant would also be a good alternative).

(3)  And for my first impression of the c200 version on the target... I don't like the font. While it is bigger than Nimbus-10 for example it is less readable - this first part is a bit personal taste - but:  the gap at the lower part of the screen in the menus/browsers that results from the 12-pixels tall font not being the best choice for a 80 pixels high display (6 lines of text + 8 pixels high space of nothing) is weird. It is very obvious because there are so few lines and in my eyes it makes it look a bit unprofessional.

I also dislike the absence of the statusbar outside the WPS; even though it doesn't look very nice, it is full of information I like taking a look at from time to time. By the way: enabling it would exactly fill out the gap mentioned above...

Edit: Additionally it seems like some of the icons in the WPS aren't scaled as clean as it could be, for example the pause icon (see previous post).

pixelma: (1) I checked this out on the sim last night and discovered it, too. I'm going to upload a fixed version by tonight. Also, those annoying thumbs.db files should be disabled on my computer (they could've been generated on other peoples' computers and then remained in the zip). We'll eventually get rid of them...

(2)(3) Actually, pixelma, I was going to use the sazanami 11 font (I think), but I eventually thought that the "feel" of the port may be changed. I can go back to that font if you want.

Read my previous post:

I just added the better repeat icons to the nano and x5/h10 versions. I'm going to finish up the c200 version, but I need to know which font to use.

does this one look better?:

or this one?:

(the only difference is supposed to be the font, so just judge the font).

Also, can you look at my repeat icons real quick and tell me if they're ok?

pixelma: whatever happened to your archos version?

I will enable the statusbar on the next upload.

And what are you saying about the icons not being as clean as possible? Pretty much all of the ports' icons are like that! I think that you mean the little light yellow line going down on the middle of the pause icon. I'll try and take care of that, too.

With the font the Narrower the better! - The first one looks better to me but I am more concerned about having room to read.

Also What is the Art size? I guessed 40x40 pixels and I think I was right but I wanted to make sure...

Yes, the album art is 40x40. And I'm now using the sazanami 11 font.

Cool let me know when it is up...

I love the Status bar (Numerical Bat Power and Volume are the best.)

Yeah, I like how it turned out, too. I think that the small font goes well with the small screen and icons. And yeah, for some odd reason the m's and w's are messed up, but this font also supports some chinese/japanese/korean fonts, but I still made a unifont version.
