ONGOING DEFAULT THEME CONTEST!!!
Chronon:
I think it's the most logical change, given the peculiarities of the screen. I also think pixelma's idea is a good one.
rasher:
Most of the relevant people should have already seen this, but I'll post it in this thread just to make sure no one is left out. Earlier today I sent out the following mail to contributors of cabbiev2 and other themes that are currently bundled with Rockbox. If you have contributed to cabbiev2 and did not receive such a mail, please read it and respond here with your reply:
Hello,
I'm writing because I believe you've contributed to the Rockbox theme
cabbiev2. To clear up the licensing for Rockbox themes, we would like
to ask permission to use your work under the terms of the Creative Commons
Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported license
(http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/).
The reason we want to do this, is that the current licensing of themes has
become a bit of a mess, and licensing of the themes we bundle with Rockbox
is if possible even more confusing. The plan is to stop bundling any
themes but the default, and move everything to the new theme site which is
moving ever closer. To ensure a less confusing situation and maximize the
possibility to share work between themes, we want all themes on that site
to carry the same licensing terms, and have selected the Creative Commons
Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 as the most suitable.
Please reply with your response to this request, thank you for your time.
If you have time, it would be nice if you could check the following mail,
and see if there were other contributors that I've forgotten:

ZincAlloy:
I'm using a version with slightly modified viewport positions and dimensions at the moment. Personally I feel it's an improvement. What do you think? Should I do this for all targets?
Llorean:
It looks weird to me to see the "m" in "Bathroom" cut off suddenly even though there's no visual indication that the line should be clipped shorter than the edge of the screen.
If there were some sort of visible frame or boundary that it was clipped to stay within that would be one thing, but a simple invisible line that text does not cross just seems odd to me.
ZincAlloy:
Right, I get what you mean. I have the same problem with the text scrolling beyond the borders of the screen. It just looks odd to me. I do see the border of the screen as the natural boundary, but I feel that everything needs some clearance. It just appears to be neater to me.
On very small screens I'd probably let it scroll to the very edge of the screen, though. Otherwise the info viewport would get ridiculously small.
