Plug in with no picture of the battery when the battery is always previously displayed would say "The battery status is no longer being talked about" meaning simply "We're running explicitly on AC power." In some cases this is true (players you can shut off the battery and still run) but it would also mean "the battery is no longer involved in the power chain" which is what happens when it's done charging.
I don't see anything about removing the picture of the battery so that only AC is shown as NOT indicating that the battery is now not in use. It's far more obvious than two pictures that are both suggesting of electricity on top of a battery.
Text is probably worse since it becomes far more difficult for a non-English speaker to even guess what they mean.
