I am now working on the new version using the helvR10 font and one version using unifont. And yes, the images/wps files will have to be modified and I will do it.

EDIT: I started work on it and am pretty much done with the default version! Preview attached. And on a side note, should I remove the "NEXT" bitmap and put in "Next Track:" text like on all the other ports for consistency?

EDIT 2: Even more recent preview attached.

I don't see why not. I only used the NEXT bitmap as the larger font I was using didn't allow for an empty line above the "next" info, and it was a way to highlight the change from the "current" to "next" areas.

The preview is looking good!

Now committed along with other fixes. Can e200 and 160x128x2 resolution player owners test it out and see if it is all working fine?

There's a typo in the e200 WPS that prevents displaying album art:

%Cl|29|20|c120|c120|

Removing the extra 'c' the theme works just fine. Thanks in advance for your work!

Is the album art seriously not showing up using that line in the e200 version? The "c" should actually be centering the album art and is not even supposed to be there. All of the other ports use the following format:

Quote
%Cl|29|20|s120|s120|

Well, it was probably a glitch of the player, since after reloading the current build it now shows up even with the 'c' modifier. I thought it was a typo since I couldn't find it in the CustomWps page (I had to click on More Details, my fault). The 's' modifier is not mentioned in the AlbumArt page though. Thanks for your time anyway.

whoops... I need to correct myself: The theme that I tried that centered too small album art was the e200 theme..
Is it possible to use two modifiers at once?

Actually, according to the following page: http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/AlbumArt#The_WPS_Tags, the "s" album art variable is no longer used or supported. Makes me wonder why it's in every port of this theme? I think that all instances of the "s" variable should be changed to the "c" variable. What do you think?

yes, they should be.
we will have to change them back to "s" when the bmp resize patch gets commited, though.

I agree, it won't be too hard to do it would it? I just tested out the latest version of the e200 version and it still looks messed up (screenshot attached) Anyone know why this is happening?

EDIT: I tested this out on the sim and apparently it did not have the latest version of the theme. Downloaded latest current build and tested out the wps included in it and it worked the way it was supposed to.

You need to change the code that displays the progress bar to the new left and right placement values.  It's still using the old values for the shorter progress bar.

EDIT:  That is, if the problem is still a problem, if not then someone already fixed that.

Got a question about the Mini and 160x128 greyscale port that's now in SVN.

They both use the same icons - if I can trust the .wps files - but the Mini port references 10 volume graphics (vol00-vol09) whereas the 160x128 greyscale references only 9 (vol00-vol08). The problem is that there is no vol09-160x128x2.bmp in the folder, even though the vol08 one doesn't look like it should be the final bitmap because the triangle is not completely "filled".

I just want to know what the correct version is and if it's just the vol09 bitmap that's missing, how this one is supposed to look like. Then the 160x128x2.wps would have to be "fixed" too, but that wouldn't be a big problem once I know how to proceed. :)
